In Hertfordshire, we are lucky enough to have three full Units going to the 25th World Scout Jamboree to Korea in 2023. World Scout Jamborees occur once every four years in a different country across the world, they are a chance for Scouts and Guides aged 14-17 from around the world to meet together on one campsite.

Every Jamboree has a specially constructed programme to ensure each participant is able to learn new skills, challenge themselves, and experience different cultures from around the world. Our Units consist of 36 Scouts/Explorers and 4 leaders from across Hertfordshire, all of which are expected to fundraise almost £4000 which will fund training events, the trip itself, and support Scouts from less fortunate countries to allow them to attend. As part of the experience, Units also meet in the 18 months leading up to the event, to allow the young people the opportunity to get to know each other.

As Units we are also completing additional fundraising to supplement the experience, in our training events, in the lead up, and whilst in-country. Donations made via this page will be split equally across the three Hertfordshire Units to help fund the experience for these wonderful young people.
